Trumpeter 1/48 MiG23ML Flogger G Soviet Fighter (New Variant)
The early "Flogger" variants were intended to be used in high-speed missile attacks, but it was soon noticed that fighters often had to engage in more close-in combat. Early production aircraft had actually suffered cracks in the fuselage during their service career, and there were concerns about maneuverability. A redesign of the airframe was performed by removing a rear fuselage fuel tank and the dorsal fin extension, resulting in the MiG-23ML which made it in some ways a new aircraft. Kit consists of over 370 parts photo-etched seat belts and harnesses. Wings and flaps are positionable.
