Trumpeter 1/48 EA3B Skywarrior Strategic Bomber (New Variant)
The A-3 Skywarrior is among the longest serving carrier-based aircrafts in Naval History. This American plane flew from the 1950s until 1991. The EA-3B variant was modified to be used for electronic intelligence starting in 1956. Its former weapons bay was replaced with a pressurized reconnaissance module that housed an Electronic Warfare Officer and three ESM operators, along with various electronic sensors. The variant carried seven crewmembers, including three in the cockpit, and saw service during the Cold War and Vietnam War. Kit consists of over 370 parts on 16 sprues, along with photo-etched detail parts.
