Trumpeter 1/35 Soviet 2S3 152mm Self-Propelled Howitzer Late Variant (New Variant)
The 2S3 is a Soviet 152mm self-propelled artillery developed in 1968. It was a response to the American 155mm M109. It entered Soviet service in 1971. The amount of hatches in rear armored plates of the hull and the turret were reduced on the late variant, also the configuration of those hatches were changed and the antenna of R-123 radio set was transferred on a turret top. Kit consists of over 550 parts on 9 sprues including individual track links and photo-etched details.
