Trumpeter 1/350 Italian Zara Heavy Cruiser (New Tool)
The Zara class of ships was developed in the late 1920s for the Regia Marina (Italian Royal Navy). The Zara was
launched in 1930 and saw extensive service during WWII. In March 1941, Zara faced off and lost against a formidable British fleet in the Battle of Cape Matapan, ultimately sunk by nine different broadside hits from the HMS Warspite and the HMS Valiant. Kit consists of over 460 parts, including a finely rendered wood deck, display stand, two-piece hull, and photo-etched parts.
