Trumpeter 1/700 USS West Virginia BB48 Battleship 1941 (New Variant)
The USS West Virginia was a Colorado-class battleship for the US Navy, commissioned in 1923. The ship was moved to Pearl Harbor in 1940 and was one of the many ships badly damaged and sunk in the 1941 attack by the Japanese, losing over 100 crewmembers. The ship was taken in for major repairs and overhauls, before being brought back into service in 1944. Kit consists of over 440 parts on 17 sprues plus an upper and lower hull, waterline plate, deck and an engraved
stand. Features include a finely-rendered deck wood pattern, two OS2U planes and photo-etched details.
