Border Model 1/35 Panzer Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.G Mid/Late (2in1)
The German Panzer IV was originally used as a fire support vehicle for the Panzer III. Because the design of the Panzer III was mainly designed to deal with the battle between the tanks, the hill designed was too compack and the upgrad potential was limited. When faced with the Soviet T-34, the German design department were forced to go up and down the fourth tank with greater potential to go against the T-34.
The Panzer IV began to use the long barrel guns from the F2 models soon after. The F2 models were classified as the Panzer IV G initial type. The Panzer IV were welcomed by the frontline troops. In the winter of 1942, the armoured divisions consisting of these Panzer IVs were engaged in combat against the Soviet Union.
